Almether Tablet is an antimalarial medicine and is used to treat malaria. It kills the infection-causing parasite and stops the further spread of the infection in the body. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Almether Tablet should be taken with or after food.

If you miss a dose of Almether Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

This medicine helps quickly reduce the number of malaria parasites in the blood.| Should I take Almether Tablet with food?::: Yes, you should take Almether Tablet with food. Almether Tablet works better when taken with food or a milky drink, as it improves the absorption of the medicine.| Who should not take Almether Tablet?::: Individuals should not take Almether Tablet if they are allergic to artemether, lumefantrine, or any ingredients present in Almether Tablet. Almether Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Arteether and Lumefantrine, which treats malaria. These medicines work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.
