Almazine 1mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder (excessive worry or restlessness), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, and social phobias. It is also used for the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Almazine 1mg Tablet relieves symptoms of anxiety such as nervousness, rapid breathing, increased heart rate, excessive sweating, trembling, weakness or lack of concentration. It may be taken with or without food. However, take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor as it has a high potential of habit-forming.If you have missed any doses, take it as soon as you remember it and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. You should not stop this medication without talking to your doctor as it may cause nausea and anxiety.The most common side effects of this medicine are weakness, sedation, and balance disorder (loss of balance). It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. In Treatment of Anxiety disorder Almazine 1mg Tablet helps relieve symptoms of many anxiety disorders including obsessive-compulsive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder by increasing the level of a chemical called GABA in your brain. This prevents abnormal symptoms of anxiety such as restlessness, tiredness, difficulty concentrating, feeling irritable and sleep problems. It helps you feel calm with a better ability to deal with problems. Exercise and a healthy diet can also improve your mood. Keep taking the medicine until your doctor advises you to stop.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Almazine 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
- Alcohol : UNSAFE

Do not drink alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Almazine 1mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness when taken with alcohol. | - Pregnancy : UNSAFE

Almazine 1mg Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Almazine 1mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.Almazine 1mg Tablet should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Almazine 1mg Tablet should be gradual. | - Driving : UNSAFE

Almazine 1mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION

Almazine 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. | - Liver : CAUTION

Almazine 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.Use of Almazine 1mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Almazine 1mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\\n
