These rare side effects include hives, blistering or peeling rash, yellow skin or eyes, unusual bruising or bleeding, loss of consciousness, fits, difficulty in breathing, hallucinations and swelling of the face, tongue, lips or throat.| Do elderly patients need to be more careful while taking Allvir 500mg Injection?::: Older adults (over age 65 years) tend to experience more side effects when taking Allvir 500mg Injection. Allvir 500mg Injection is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
-Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (Oral Route): Severe
Do not consume Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate with Acyclovir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your kidney function closely. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.
| -Tacrolimus (Oral Route): Severe
If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your tacrolimus levels, potassium levels and kidney function closely. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.
| -Ciclosporin (Oral Route): Severe
Caution is advised when taking Ciclosporin with Acyclovir. Your doctor may closely monitor the effects of Acyclovir if used concurrently with Ciclosporin and adjust the dose if needed. Acyclovir may raise blood levels of Ciclosporin.Concurrent use may cause kidney dysfunction.

Do not consume Tizanidine with Acyclovir. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as breathlessness, fatigue, drowsiness, sedation or faintness or vomiting and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may monitor and adjust the doses as per the observations. Acyclovir may raise blood levels of Tizanidine.
