Alitel-MCH Tablet ER may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION
Alitel-MCH Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.Use of Alitel-MCH Tablet ER is not recommended in these patients. | - Liver : CAUTION

If you miss a dose of Alitel-MCH Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
What is Alitel-MCH Tablet ER used for? ::: Alitel-MCH Tablet ER is used to treat high blood pressure (essential hypertension), especially in patients who also have stable coronary artery disease. Controlling blood pressure lowers the risk of stroke, heart attack, kidney disease, and other complications.| Who should not take Alitel-MCH Tablet ER?::: People should not take Alitel-MCH Tablet ER if they are allergic to telmisartan, chlorthalidone, metoprolol, or any other ingredients present in it, cannot pass urine (anuria), have severe heart rhythm problems, or have untreated heart failure.| What are the serious side effects of Alitel-MCH Tablet ER? ::: Serious side effects of Alitel-MCH Tablet ER may include severe dizziness, fainting, very slow heartbeat, chest pain, trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, jaundice (yellowing of eyes/skin), or signs of kidney problems such as reduced urination. Seek urgent medical help if you notice any of these symptoms.| Can Alitel-MCH Tablet ER affect my kidneys? ::: Yes. Alitel-MCH Tablet ER may affect kidney function, especially in people with severe kidney disease, dehydration, heart failure, or those taking other medicines that act on the kidneys. Your doctor may monitor kidney function and other blood tests.| Does Alitel-MCH Tablet ER cause electrolyte imbalance? ::: Yes. Alitel-MCH Tablet ER may cause imbalance of potassium, sodium, or uric acid levels in the blood. Your doctor may check your blood electrolytes regularly.| Can people with liver problems take Alitel-MCH Tablet ER? ::: Alitel-MCH Tablet ER is not recommended in severe liver disease or bile duct blockage. In milder cases, Alitel-MCH Tablet ER treatment should be started carefully and under close medical supervision.| Can I suddenly stop taking Alitel-MCH Tablet ER if I start to feel better? ::: No. Stopping Alitel-MCH Tablet ER suddenly, even if you feel better, may cause dangerous spikes in blood pressure, may worsen chest pain, or trigger a heart attack. Always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine.

Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate, while Telmisartan is a calcium channel blocker which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin to further relax blood vessels.
