Concomitant use may cause an increase in blood serotonin levels. Patients may experience agitation, increased body temperature, fast heartbeat, muscle rigidity, and loss of coordination.

Do not consume Domperidone with Amitriptyline. Concomitant use may affect heart rhythm.
| -Tranylcypromine (Oral Route): Life-threatening
Do not consume Tranylcypromine with Amitriptyline. If Tranylcypromine is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 weeks after discontinuing Amitriptyline. Please consult your doctor.
| -Tramadol (Injection Route): Severe
Careful consideration is advised if you have epilepsy. Watch out for symptoms of serotonin syndrome, such as sedation, respiratory impairment, tremors, fever, diarrhea, or agitation, and consult your doctor if you experience them. Your doctor may alter or discontinue the medicines accordingly. Concurrent use may cause serotonin syndrome.
| -Thioridazine (Oral Route): Severe
If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as sleepiness, dry mouth, impaired voluntary movements, weight gain, constipation, muscle stiffness or tremors and consult your doctor if you experience them. Factors such as old age, chronic heart issues, or low potassium levels may more frequently cause disturbance in heart rhythm, and your doctor may consider ECG monitoring in their presence. Concurrent use may cause serious disturbance in heart rhythm.
