If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as impaired coordination, double vision, dizziness or confusion and consult your doctor if you experience them. Your doctor may monitor and adjust the dose of Carbamazepine accordingly. Clarithromycin may raise blood levels of Carbamazepine.

Factors such as old age, chronic heart issues, or low potassium levels may more frequently cause disturbance in heart rhythm, and your doctor may consider ECG monitoring in their presence. Concurrent use may cause serious disturbance in heart rhythm.
