Initially, after starting Algor 200mg Tablet, you may experience gouty attacks. Continue taking Algor 200mg Tablet even if you do not experience any considerable relief from the attacks. Do not stop taking Algor 200mg Tablet without consulting your doctor. Your doctor will prescribe you another medicine along with Algor 200mg Tablet to prevent the initial attacks. It may take a while for the body to completely get rid of all uric acid crystals.| What if I take alcohol while taking Algor 200mg Tablet?::: You should refrain from consuming alcohol while taking Algor 200mg Tablet, as this could make your condition worse. Also, you should avoid all foods that are rich sources of protein, as it will help to prevent attacks of gout. Consult your doctor for a detailed list of food items that need to be avoided. Algor 200mg Tablet is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It works by decreasing blood uric acid, which is the chemical that causes gout.

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as skin rash, hives, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, wheezing or dizziness and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may monitor your blood cell count and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of low white blood cell count and serious infections, especially in individuals with kidney dysfunction.
