aLFil 5mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) in men. It helps in improving blood flow to the penile region, thereby facilitating and sustaining an erection. It is effective in treating symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). aLFil 5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. The medicine will only help you get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. Do not exceed the prescribed dose, and avoid using it without proper medical guidance.Common side effects of this medicine include headache, dizziness, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, and muscle and back pain. If any of these side effects do not go away on their own or bother you, consult your doctor. They can suggest ways to reduce or treat them.Do not use aLFil 5mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components of this medicine. Consult a doctor before using if you have a history of heart problems, high or low blood pressure, liver or kidney issues, or if you are taking any other medications. Avoid consuming alcohol as it may increase certain side effects. Do not take aLFil 5mg Tablet with other erectile dysfunction medications without consulting your doctor. This medicine is not intended for use by women or individuals under the age of 18 years.

In Treatment of Erectile dysfunction Alfil 5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into the penis and produce an erection when sexually aroused. This medicine will only help get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is very effective for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and needs to be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. In addition to treating erectile dysfunction, it improves sexual performance and satisfaction. However, do not take this medicine if you also take medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain).

Can the use of aLFil 5mg Tablet affect fertility?::: No, using aLFil 5mg Tablet does not affect fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of the penile blood vessels and does not affect fertility.| Do I need to avoid alcohol while taking aLFil 5mg Tablet?::: Alcohol in small amounts may not cause you any discomfort. However, drinking too much alcohol (5 units or greater) can increase your chances of getting a headache or feeling dizzy, an increased heart rate, or low blood pressure.| What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue aLFil 5mg Tablet?::: You should immediately consult your doctor if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss, ringing in the ears, or dizziness. Also, contact your doctor if you experience prolonged erections greater than 4 hours and painful erections greater than 6 hours in duration.

-Nitroprusside (Injection Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Nitroprusside with Tadalafil. Concomitant use may cause a serious drop in blood pressure.

| -Isosorbide Dinitrate (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tadalafil with Isosorbide Dinitrate. If Tadalafil is essential, ensure a gap of at least 48 hours between taking Tadalafil and Isosorbide Dinitrate. Concomitant use may cause a severe drop in blood pressure that may lead to a heart attack.

| -Isosorbide Dinitrate (Sublingual route): Life-threatening

| -Isosorbide Mononitrate (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tadalafil with Isosorbide Mononitrate. If Tadalafil is essential, ensure a gap of at least 48 hours between taking Tadalafil and Isosorbide Mononitrate. Concomitant use may cause a severe drop in blood pressure that may lead to a heart attack.

| -Nitroglycerin (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tadalafil with Nitroglycerin. If Tadalafil is essential, ensure a gap of at least 48 hours between taking Tadalafil and Nitroglycerin. Concomitant use may cause a severe drop in blood pressure that may lead to a heart attack.
