In Scabies Scabies is a condition caused by tiny insects called mites that infest and irritate your skin. Alencab Lotion kills the mites and their eggs present on the skin. This gives relief from itching, swelling and redness. Alencab Lotion also helps kill head lices and their eggs, therbey giving you relief from itching and irritation caused by lice. It is normally effective in one or two applications however complete the course of treatment for better results.
This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.

If you miss a dose of Alencab Lotion, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
What is Alencab Lotion used for? ::: Alencab Lotion is used to treat scabies (a skin infestation by mites) and head lice. Lindane in Alencab Lotion acts as an insecticide, paralyzing and killing mites and lice (and their eggs), while cetrimide in Alencab Lotion is an antiseptic that soothes the skin and helps prevent secondary infections.| Who should not use Alencab Lotion? ::: Individuals should not use Alencab Lotion if they are allergic to any component of this medicine, are premature infants, neonates, or people with uncontrolled seizures. It is also contraindicated in patients with severely damaged skin, crusted scabies (a severe form of scabies), or severe skin diseases such as eczema or psoriasis.| How should I use Alencab Lotion?::: Apply Alencab Lotion only to the affected skin or scalp, as directed by your doctor. Avoid using it on the face, eyes, mucous membranes, broken skin, or large areas. Typically, it is left on for 8 to 12 hours before being washed off thoroughly. Do not cover treated areas with tight or dark clothing, and wash your hands thoroughly after application.| When will I see benefits from Alencab Lotion?::: The exact time Alencab Lotion begins to show benefits is not known. However, you may expect improvement in symptoms within a few days of regular use. Full benefits may take longer, depending on the severity of the condition.
