Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule is an antihistaminic medicine. It is used to treat symptoms of nasal allergy such as sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes. It may also be used to treat insomnia and motion sickness. Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule is best taken before a meal or at bedtime. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take it for as long as it is prescribed for you. In case, you have missed any doses, take the next dose as soon as you remember it. However, you should never take a double dose.Dizziness and drowsiness are the most common side effect of this medicine. Avoid driving or attention-seeking activities while on treatment with this medicine. In some cases, it may cause also dryness of mouth. To prevent dry mouth, drink more water and maintain good oral hygiene.Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have glaucoma or have any gastro-related issues or have asthma. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Generally, it is advised to avoid alcohol while on treatment.

By reducing histamine's effects, the medicine helps alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms associated with allergic skin conditions, providing relief from itching and reducing inflammation.

- Alcohol : UNSAFE

Do not drink alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule may cause excessive drowsiness when taken with alcohol. | - Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies do not indicate harmful effects. However, there are limited human studies. | - Breast feeding : CAUTION

Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.Larger doses or prolonged use of Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby | - Driving : UNSAFE

Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

There is limited data available on the use of Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. | - Liver : CAUTION

Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

-Tramadol (Injection Route): Moderate

Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration or alertness until you know how the medicines affect you. Concurrent use may increase sleepiness and drowsiness.

| -Trihexyphenidyl (Injection Route): Moderate

Talk to your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms. Concurrent use may cause dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary retention, constipation, and confusion.

| -Clozapine (Oral Route): Moderate

Watch out for symptoms such as dry mouth, increased heart rate, urination difficulties, constipation, loss of appetite or nausea and consult your doctor if you experience them. Concurrent use may increase the risk of intestinal obstruction.

| -Trihexyphenidyl (Oral Route): Moderate

Talk to your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms. Concurrent use may cause dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary retention, constipation, and confusion.
