Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aldopam 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.Avoid Aldopam 250mg Tablet with high protein meals such as cottage cheese, Swiss cheese, protein powder, eggs and milk.

Aldopam 250mg Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby. | - Breast feeding : CAUTION
Aldopam 250mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body. | - Driving : UNSAFE
Aldopam 250mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION
Aldopam 250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.Regular blood pressure monitoring is recommended for dose adjustment. | - Liver : CAUTION
Aldopam 250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
If you miss a dose of Aldopam 250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Aldopam 250mg Tablet is an alpha-2 agonist. It works by relaxing blood vessels, which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
-Tranylcypromine (Oral Route): Severe
Do not consume Tranylcypromine with Methyldopa. If concurrent use is essential, please consult your doctor.
| -Baclofen (Oral Route): Moderate
If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, nausea, fatigue, confusion, cold or clammy skin, shallow breathing or rapid pulse and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may cause low blood pressure.
| -Methylphenidate (Oral Route): Moderate
If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your blood pressure closely. Methylphenidate may reduce efficacy of Methyldopa.
| -Lithium carbonate (Oral Route): Moderate
Watch out for symptoms such as impaired coordination, double vision, weakness, dizziness or confusion and consult your doctor if you experience them. Lithium carbonate may raise blood levels of Methyldopa and its active form.
| -Bortezomib (Injection Route): Moderate
Your doctor may monitor blood pressure and adjust the dose, if required. Concurrent use may cause low blood pressure.
