Aldezole 500mg Infusion is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.Patients undergoing kidney dialysis should take this medicine after the dialysis treatment. | - Liver : CAUTION

This metallic taste can be reduced by staying hydrated, brushing teeth after the meals and chewing sugar-free gum or mints.| What if I take more than the recommended dose of Aldezole 500mg Infusion?::: If you have taken Aldezole 500mg Infusion in excess (more than the recommended dose), immediately contact your doctor or report to the nearest hospital. Overdose of Aldezole 500mg Infusion may cause loss of appetite, metallic taste, headache, dizziness, insomnia or drowsiness.| What if there is no improvement after using Aldezole 500mg Infusion?::: Inform your doctor if you did not feel better even after completing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him/her if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
Aldezole 500mg Infusion is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
-Amiodarone (Oral Route): Moderate
Talk to your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms. Concurrent use may increase the risk of disturbance in the heart rhythm.
| -Lithium carbonate (Oral Route): Moderate
Do not consume Lithium carbonate with Metronidazole. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your blood Lithium carbonate levels, creatinine levels, electrolytes or overall treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Lithium carbonate may raise blood levels of the active form of Metronidazole.

| -Thalidomide (Oral Route): Moderate
If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as tingling or numbness in hands and feet, burning pain, sharp or stabbing pain, sensitivity to touch, muscle weakness or lack of coordination and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may cause weakness, numbness and pain, usually in the hands and feet.
| -Acenocoumarol (Oral Route): Moderate
Your doctor may frequently monitor your blood clotting time and adjust the dose of Acenocoumarol accordingly. Concurrent use may increase the risk of bleeding.
