It also helps in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.| Who should not take Aldcal-K27 Softgel Capsule? ::: Individuals should not take Aldcal-K27 Softgel Capsule if they have hypercalcemia (too much calcium in the blood), vitamin D toxicity (too much vitamin D in the body), or if they are on blood thinners like warfarin (because vitamin K2 can block warfarin?s effect).| What serious warning signs should I watch for during Aldcal-K27 Softgel Capsule treatment? ::: Reach out to your doctor immediately if you develop signs of high calcium, such as severe nausea, vomiting, belly pain, constipation, extreme thirst, frequent urination, confusion, unusual tiredness or weakness, or an uneven heartbeat (abnormal heart rhythm).| Can Aldcal-K27 Softgel Capsule affect my kidneys? ::: Yes. Too much Aldcal-K27 Softgel Capsule for a long time can cause kidney stones (hard mineral lumps) or calcium build?up in the kidneys (nephrocalcinosis). Aldcal-K27 Softgel Capsule is a combination of Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, and Vitamin K2-7. Calcitriol is the active form of Vitamin D. It raises Vitamin D levels in your blood. This in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from your intestine. Calcium carbonate is a dietary supplement used when the amount of calcium taken in the diet is not enough. Vitamin K2-7 plays a central role in the metabolism of calcium, the main mineral found in your bones and teeth. Vitamin K2-7 activates the calcium-binding actions of two proteins : matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin, which help to build and maintain bone health.
