What is Albaoxy 50mg Injection used for?::: Albaoxy 50mg Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of serious bacterial infections.| Who should not receive Albaoxy 50mg Injection?::: Individuals should not receive Albaoxy 50mg Injection if they are allergic to oxytetracycline or other tetracycline antibiotics. It is not suitable for those with severe liver or kidney disease, young children, or pregnant women unless strictly prescribed by a doctor. | Are there any serious side effects of Albaoxy 50mg Injection? ::: Yes. Serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, trouble breathing), persistent headache, vision changes, confusion, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), unexplained muscle weakness, or severe stomach pain. Seek emergency medical help if these occur.| Should I avoid sunlight while taking Albaoxy 50mg Injection? ::: Yes. Albaoxy 50mg Injection can cause photosensitivity, which is a skin reaction to sunlight. Albaoxy 50mg Injection is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
-Tretinoin (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tretinoin with Oxytetracycline. Concurrent use may cause increased pressure around the brain.

| -Isotretinoin (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Isotretinoin with Oxytetracycline. Concurrent use may cause a risk of increased pressure around the brain.

| -Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) two weeks before and at least 10 days after consuming Oxytetracycline. Please consult your doctor. Oxytetracycline may reduce the efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

| -Acitretin (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Acitretin with Oxytetracycline. Concurrent use may cause a risk of increased pressure around the brain.

| -Phenindione (Oral Route): Severe

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for bleeding and consult your doctor immediately. They may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Oxytetracycline may increase the effect of Phenindione.
