Take it for as long as it is prescribed to you.The most common side effects of this medicine include weight gain, respiratory infections, and rash. It is not for emergency asthma attacks and won't work during sudden shortness of breath. It may also be used to manage symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.| What are the serious side effects of Alarid 1mg Tablet I should watch out for?::: The serious but rare side effects of Alarid 1mg Tablet include seizures (fits), liver problems (yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine), bladder issues (painful urination, frequent night urination), and severe skin reactions like rashes or blistering. You should seek medical help immediately if these occur.| How long does Alarid 1mg Tablet take to work?::: The exact time Alarid 1mg Tablet takes to show results is not known and is also based on the condition you are being treated for. For short-term relief such as itching, sneezing, etc., Alarid 1mg Tablet may start working within hours. However, for full preventive effects, such as for asthma or chronic allergies, it can take a few weeks to months of consistent use.| Can Alarid 1mg Tablet make me sleepy?::: Yes, sedation or drowsiness is common, especially when first starting treatment that may cause sleepiness.
