Aktob 80mg Injection is an antibiotic used to prevent or treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This may include infections of the urinary tract, bones and joints, lungs (e.g., pneumonia), brain (e.g., meningitis), blood, abdominal organs, and some others. Aktob 80mg Injection may also be used in hospitalized patients to prevent infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It is given as a drip (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Your doctor may shift you to another antibiotic after culture reports become available. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.This medicine may casue nausea, vomiting, and stomach upset as side effects in some people. Rarely some patients may develop balance disorder (loss of balance), kidney damage, and hearing loss. Therefore, please follow all the instructions given by your doctor while using this medicine.Your doctor may monitor you with regular kidney function tests, hearing tests, and urine tests during treatment. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects bother you or if your condition does not improve. This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. In Treatment of Bacterial eye infections Aktob 80mg Injection is an antibiotic medicine. It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria that is causing the infection. It helps relieve symptoms such as pain, redness, itching, or soreness caused due to eye infections. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on your condition. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

For instance, if you have mild to moderate eye infection, your doctor will advise 1-2 eye drops, 4 times a day, usually. In severe infections, you may be prescribed 2 drops every hour. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor. You should use it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.| How should Aktob 80mg Injection be used?::: You should wash your hands before using the eye drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip against your eye or anywhere else. Tilt your head slightly and instill one drop. Close your eyes for 2 or 3 minutes with your head tipped down, avoid blinking or squinting. Gently press your finger to the inside corner of the eye for about 1 minute, to keep the liquid from draining into your tear duct. If you use more than one drop, wait about 5 minutes between the drops. Aktob 80mg Injection is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
-Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate with Tobramycin. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your kidney function closely. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.

| -Vancomycin (Injection Route): Severe

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may closely monitor your kidney's functioning and overall treatment. Concurrent use may potentially damage the kidneys.

| -Carboplatin (Injection Route): Severe

Your doctor may monitor your electrolyte levels, kidney function, and hearing ability along with your overall treatment. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney impairment, hearing loss, and low blood magnesium levels.

| -Tacrolimus (Oral Route): Severe

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your tacrolimus levels, potassium levels and kidney function closely. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.

| -Colistin Sulphate (Injection Route): Severe

Do not consume Colistin Sulphate with Tobramycin. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.
