You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for, but you should always complete a full course of? Akem Tablet DT as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it until you have finished, even when you feel better. If you stop taking it early, some bacteria may survive, and the infection may come back.Common side effects seen with this medicine include vomiting, nausea, rash, and diarrhea. It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection. Take it for as long as prescribed by the doctor and avoid skipping doses. This will make sure that all bacteria are killed and they do not become resistant.

Akem Tablet DT is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks. | - Breast feeding : UNSAFE

-Tretinoin (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tretinoin with Doxycycline. Concurrent use may cause increased pressure around the brain.

| -Isotretinoin (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Isotretinoin with Doxycycline. Concurrent use may cause a risk of increased pressure around the brain.

| -Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) two weeks before and at least 10 days after consuming Doxycycline. Please consult your doctor. Doxycycline may reduce the efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

| -Acitretin (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Acitretin with Doxycycline. Concurrent use may cause a risk of increased pressure around the brain.

| -Phenindione (Oral Route): Severe

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for bleeding and consult your doctor immediately. They may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Doxycycline may increase the effect of Phenindione.
