In Herpes labialis Herpes labialis, commonly known as cold sores, is a viral infection that primarily affects the lip. Symptoms typically include a burning pain followed by small blisters or sores. The first attack may also be accompanied by fever, sore throat, and enlarged lymph nodes. Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT can speed up healing of herpes labialis and also prevent recurrence of the sores.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

These rare side effects include hives, blistering or peeling rash, yellow skin or eyes, unusual bruising or bleeding, loss of consciousness, fits, difficulty in breathing, hallucinations and swelling of the face, tongue, lips or throat.| Do elderly patients need to be more careful while taking Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT?::: Older adults (over age 65 years) tend to experience more side effects when taking Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT. The reason being, their kidneys do not flush the drug out of their system as quickly as a younger person?s kidneys would do. Elderly patients should drink plenty of water while taking Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT, and their kidney function should be monitored. These patients should be given a lower dose and should be monitored for neurological problems.| What can happen if somebody takes more than the recommended dose of Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT accidentally?::: Accidental, repeated overdoses of oral Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT over several days have resulted in nausea, vomiting, confusion and headache. Consult your doctor in case of overdose.| Can I get resistant to Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT treatment?::: Patients with advanced HIV disease or patients with an impaired immunity have reported resistance to Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT. Aitclov 200mg Tablet DT is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
-Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (Oral Route): Severe
Do not consume Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate with Acyclovir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your kidney function closely. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.
| -Tacrolimus (Oral Route): Severe
If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your tacrolimus levels, potassium levels and kidney function closely. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.

Caution is advised when taking Ciclosporin with Acyclovir. Your doctor may closely monitor the effects of Acyclovir if used concurrently with Ciclosporin and adjust the dose if needed. Acyclovir may raise blood levels of Ciclosporin.Concurrent use may cause kidney dysfunction.
