Agobliss 25mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Agobliss 25mg Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. | - Liver : UNSAFE
Agobliss 25mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Agobliss 25mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
What should I inform my doctor before starting treatment with Agobliss 25mg Tablet?::: Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you are allergic to agomelatine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, if your liver does not work properly (hepatic impairment) or if you are taking any other antidepressants or antibiotics.| Can Agobliss 25mg Tablet damage my liver?::: Yes, this medicine can cause further serious or even life-threatening damage to the liver if you have ever had any liver problems. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice severe stomach pain (upper right side), dark urine, clay-colored stools, tiredness, itching, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).| I was taking an anti-depressant but my doctor has asked me to start taking Agobliss 25mg Tablet? Are there any side effects due to changes in medicines?::: If your doctor changes your previous antidepressant medicine to Agobliss 25mg Tablet, he/she will advise you on how you should discontinue your previous medicine when starting Agobliss 25mg Tablet. You may experience discontinuation symptoms like dizziness, numbness, sleep disturbances, agitation or anxiety, headaches, feeling sick, being sick, and shaking. These effects are usually mild to moderate and disappear spontaneously within a few days. Inform your doctor immediately if the symptoms worsen.| How to store Agobliss 25mg Tablet?::: Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture. This medicine does not require any special temperature storage conditions. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.| Can Agobliss 25mg Tablet be given to children?::: This medicine is not recommended in the treatment of depression in patients under 18 years of age since its safety and efficacy have not been established in this age group.
Agobliss 25mg Tablet is a melatonin agonist. It works by resynchronizing the sleep-wake cycle that is disturbed in depression.
-Ciprofloxacin (Oral Route): Severe
Do not consume Agomelatine with Ciprofloxacin. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as headache, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, anxiety, difficulty in sleeping, back pain or abdominal pain and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Ciprofloxacin may raise blood levels of Agomelatine.

| -Fluvoxamine (Oral Route): Severe
Do not consume Agomelatine with Fluvoxamine. Fluvoxamine may raise blood levels of Agomelatine.
| -Conjugated Estrogens (Vaginal Route): Moderate
If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Agomelatine side effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, anxiety, difficulty in sleeping, back pain or abdominal pain and consult your doctor if you experience them. Conjugated Estrogens may raise blood levels of Agomelatine.
