This medicine is used to treat many different types of infections such as those of the brain (meningitis), lungs (pneumonia), ear, abdomen, urinary tract, bones and joints, skin, blood, and heart. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

If diarrhea persists, talk to your doctor about it.| How long does Afta Injection take to work?::: Usually, Afta Injection starts working soon after you take it. However, it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and relieve your symptoms completely.| What if I do not get better after using Afta Injection?::: Inform your doctor if you do not feel better even after finishing the full course of treatment. You must also inform your doctor if the symptoms get worse while using this medicine.| Is Afta Injection effective?::: Afta Injection is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Afta Injection too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.
Afta Injection is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
-Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route): Severe
Do not consume Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) two weeks before and at least 10 days after consuming Ceftazidime. Please consult your doctor. Ceftazidime may reduce the efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).
| -Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route): Severe
Ceftazidime may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine. Ceftazidime may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.Do not consume Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine with Ceftazidime. If Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine is essential, ensure a gap of at least 3 days after discontinuing Ceftazidime. Please consult your doctor.

Your doctor may monitor your kidney function regularly. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.

They may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Indomethacin may slow down the removal of Ceftazidime from the body.
