Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR may affect your driving ability if your blood sugar becomes too low or too high. Monitor your blood glucose and avoid driving if affected.However, patients should be alerted to the risk of hypoglycemia when it is used in combination with other antidiabetic agents such as sulfonylureas, insulin, and repaglinide. | - Kidney : CAUTION

Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.Use of Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. If you miss a dose of Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Watch out for signs such as dizziness, sweating, and shaking, and carry a sugary snack if at risk.| Who should not take Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR?::: Individuals should avoid taking Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR if they have severe kidney problems, liver disease, heart failure, serious infections, or alcoholism. It is also not suitable if they are allergic to metformin, voglibose, or any ingredient present in Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR.| Is Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR safe for elderly patients?::: In elderly people, kidney function may decline with age. Since metformin (present in Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR) can affect the kidneys, doctors will check kidney function (GFR) regularly and adjust the dose accordingly.| Can I take Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR if I have kidney problems?::: Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR is not safe if kidney function is severely reduced (GFR below 30 mL/min). For mild to moderate kidney issues, the doctor may adjust the dose of this medicine and check kidney function regularly.| What serious side effects should I watch for while taking Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR?::: Though rare, Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR may cause lactic acidosis, a serious condition with symptoms such as muscle pain, breathing difficulty, and weakness. If you feel unwell suddenly, seek emergency medical help.| Can I stop taking Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR once my blood sugar is controlled?::: No, do not stop taking Affovog-M 2 Tablet SR, or other diabetes medicines without a doctor?s advice. Even if sugar levels are normal, stopping the medicine may cause blood sugar to rise again.
