If you miss a dose of Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

This can happen even if blood sugar is not very high.| Can Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet increase the risk of infections? ::: Yes. Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet can raise the chance of urinary tract infection (UTI) and genital yeast infection (thrush). Get help for fever, chills, burning when passing urine, back/side pain, or genital itching, discharge, or odor.| What is Fournier?s gangrene, and why is it related to Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet use? ::: Fournier?s gangrene can occur during Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet use. It is a rare but serious infection of the area between the genitals and the anus. Get urgent care for pain, redness, swelling in that area with fever, or feeling unwell, because it needs immediate treatment.| Can Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet cause pancreatitis (inflamed pancreas)?::: Yes. Pancreatitis has been reported with Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet. Seek help for severe, persistent stomach pain that may extend to the back, with nausea, or vomiting.| Can Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)?::: Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet can cause low blood sugar when taken with other sugar?lowering medicines like sulfonylureas or insulin. Symptoms of low blood sugar include shaking, sweating, hunger, fast heartbeat, headache, vision changes, mood change, or confusion. Your doctor may lower the dose of the other medicines to reduce this risk.
Affodapa S 5/50 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Sitagliptin reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver by raising insulin levels and decreasing the levels of glucagon (the hormone that increases blood glucose levels).
