Afdicef LB Syrup is a combination medicine. It is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the infection to prevent the growth and further spread of the microorganisms. It also improves the process of digestion by promoting the growth of good bacteria in the gut. Afdicef LB Syrup is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. It stops the growth of bacteria causing infection. This further reduces the discomforts associated with various infections and helps in early recovery. Make sure to complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning. Afdicef LB Syrup also restores the level of good bacteria in your stomach and thus prevents stomach upset due to the antibiotics.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Afdicef LB Syrup may be taken with or without food.

There is limited data available on the use of Afdicef LB Syrup in patients with liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Afdicef LB Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Can the use of Afdicef LB Syrup cause diarrhea?::: Yes, the use of Afdicef LB Syrup can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.| Can I stop taking Afdicef LB Syrup when I feel better?::: No, do not stop taking Afdicef LB Syrup and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.| What if I miss my dose?::: Take Afdicef LB Syrup as soon you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.| What if I don't get better after using Afdicef LB Syrup?::: Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
Afdicef LB Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefalexin and Lactobacillus. Cefalexin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
