Adzine 200 Injection is used in the treatment of cancers of lymphatic system and malignant melanoma (a type of skin cancer). It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. Adzine 200 Injection is given as an injection into a vein by the healthcare professional, but better if injected at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, and decreased white blood cell count, and injection site pain,. If they do not go away or get worse, tell your doctor. There may be ways of preventing or reducing these effects. It is very strong medicine and some people may develop serious side effects while taking it. This medicine may lower your ability to fight infections and lead to problems with your blood, liver or kidneys. Inform your doctor if you notice unusual bleeding or bruising, lack of energy, loss of appetite, and yellowing of eyes. Your doctor will advise you regular blood tests to check for these.Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

In Malignant melanoma Malignant melanoma is a type of skin cancer that develops in melanocytes, the cells that produce the pigment called melanin. Melanin is the pigment that gives the skin its color. Malignant melanoma is the most deadly and aggressive kind of skin cancer. Adzine 200 Injection sticks to the genetic code, called DNA,of the cancer cells and kills them . It also prevents their growth and further spread. This helps to treat the cancer.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Adzine 200 Injection | - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Adzine 200 Injection is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Adzine 200 Injection may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor. | - Driving : UNSAFE

Adzine 200 Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.Adzine 200 Injection may influence the ability to drive because of its central nervous system side effects. | - Kidney : CAUTION

Adzine 200 Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. | - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

How is Adzine 200 Injection administered?::: Adzine 200 Injection is administered as infusion or injection. Absorption by mouth is slow and varies, therefore, intravenous (given through vein) infusion or injection administration is preferred.| Is Adzine 200 Injection a vesicant?::: Adzine 200 Injection is a potent vesicant (it is corrosive), and it should be carefully administered to avoid the risk of extravasation (leaking into the tissues).| What is Adzine 200 Injection used for?::: Adzine 200 Injection is used to treat skin cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (malignant melanoma), cancer of the white blood cell (Hodgkin's lymphoma) and advanced adult soft tissue sarcomas (cancer of soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, fat, and blood vessels).| How effective is Adzine 200 Injection?::: Adzine 200 Injection is effective if taken at recommended dosage and duration as advised by your doctor.| Does Adzine 200 Injection cause hair loss?::: Yes, hair loss is a common side effect of Adzine 200 Injection.

-Filgrastim (Injection Route): Severe

Do not consume Filgrastim from 24 hours before or 24 hours after taking Dacarbazine. Please consult with your doctor. Dacarbazine may reduce the efficacy of Filgrastim.

| -Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route): Severe

Do not use Dacarbazine with Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated). If Dacarbazine is essential, ensure a gap of At least 6 months after discontinuing Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated). Please consult your doctor. Dacarbazine may reduce efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).Concurrent use may increase the risk of fatal infections.

| -Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted) (Injection Route): Severe

Do not use Dacarbazine with Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted). If Dacarbazine is essential, ensure a gap of At least 6 months after discontinuing Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted). Please consult your doctor. Dacarbazine may reduce efficacy of Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted).Concurrent use may increase the risk of infections.

| -Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route): Severe

Do not use Dacarbazine with Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine. If Dacarbazine is essential, ensure a gap of At least 6 months after discontinuing Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine. Please consult your doctor. Dacarbazine may reduce efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.Concurrent use may increase the risk of infections.

| -Pegfilgrastim (Injection Route): Severe

Do not consume Pegfilgrastim within 24 hours after taking Dacarbazine. Please consult with your doctor. Dacarbazine may reduce the efficacy of Pegfilgrastim.
