If you miss a dose of Adthal 50 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Even a single dose during pregnancy can be dangerous. Women must use two reliable forms of birth control before, during, and after treatment, and undergo frequent pregnancy testing.| Is Adthal 50 Capsule safe for use in women who are pregnant or may become pregnant? ::: No, Adthal 50 Capsule must never be used during pregnancy. Women of childbearing potential must follow strict pregnancy prevention programs and avoid pregnancy for at least four weeks before starting and four weeks after stopping the medicine.| What are the serious side effects of Adthal 50 Capsule? ::: Serious side effects of Adthal 50 Capsule include severe blood clots, nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy), low white blood cell count, liver problems, and serious skin rashes such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. Medical help should be sought immediately if any of these occur.| Who should not take Adthal 50 Capsule?::: Individuals should not take Adthal 50 Capsule if they are pregnant, breastfeeding, or unable to follow the birth control requirements. People allergic to Adthal 50 Capsule or who have had serious blood clots or nerve damage should consult a doctor before use.| What precautions should be taken to avoid nerve damage from Adthal 50 Capsule?::: Patients should be regularly monitored for numbness, tingling, or pain in the hands and feet during Adthal 50 Capsule treatment. If signs of nerve damage appear, the doctor may reduce the dose or stop the medicine to prevent permanent nerve problems.

Adthal 50 Capsule modulates the activity of body's immune system and helps indirectly attacking the cancer cells. It also stops the growth of blood vessels in cancer.

-Pegylated Interferon Alpha 2A (Injection Route): Severe

Your doctor may monitor your blood cell count frequently and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may cause decreased production of blood cells.

| -Zoledronic acid (Injection Route): Moderate

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor kidney function and other treatment outcome and may modify the treatment protocol as per the observation. Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage. This is particular when use concurrently in individuals having cancer of plasma cell in the bone marrow (myeloma).

| -Dienogest (Oral Route): Moderate

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of formation of blood clots.

| -Dehydroepiandrosterone (Micronized) (Oral Route): Moderate

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of formation of blood clots.

| -Acrivastine (Oral Route): Moderate

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Thalidomide side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness. Concurrent use may cause increased sleepiness.
