Adleap Tablet
Adleap Tablet is used in the treatment of cancer of the prostate gland. It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. It works by blocking the effects of male hormones such as testosterone. Adleap Tablet should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time every day. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.Headache, hot flashes, weakness and high blood pressure is very common side effect of this medicine. Other than this, fractures, falls, dry skin, pruritus,decreased appetite, and constipation might be observed as side effects. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with liver function during treatment with this medicine. It makes your skin more sensitive towards sunlight, hence take extra caution while going out.Before taking it, tell your doctor if have diabetes, seizures, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood glucose level while on treatment.

Adleap Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. | - Breast feeding : UNSAFE

Adleap Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby. | - Driving : UNSAFE

Adleap Tablet may cause side effects that could affect your ability to drive. | - Kidney : CAUTION

Adleap Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. | - Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Adleap Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.

If you miss a dose of Adleap Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
What is Adleap Tablet used for? ::: Adleap Tablet is used to treat prostate cancer that has spread, or is resistant to hormone therapy. It works by blocking the effect of male hormones (androgens) that help cancer cells grow.| Who should not take Adleap Tablet? ::: People should not take Adleap Tablet if they are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. It is also not recommended for women, especially during pregnancy, due to the risk of harm to an unborn baby.| Can Adleap Tablet cause seizures?::: Yes, Adleap Tablet can increase the risk of seizures. Patients with a history of seizures, brain injury, stroke, or those taking medicines that lower the seizure threshold need extra caution.| What are the serious side effects of Adleap Tablet?::: Serious side effects of Adleap Tablet may include seizures, severe allergic reactions, sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, swelling in legs, falls, memory problems, or unusual bleeding. Seek medical attention right away if these occur.| Can Adleap Tablet affect memory or thinking?::: Yes, Adleap Tablet may cause problems such as memory loss, confusion, trouble concentrating, or a higher risk of falls. These side effects may impact daily activities.| Does Adleap Tablet affect blood pressure or heart health? ::: Yes, Adleap Tablet can cause high blood pressure, and may increase the risk of heart problems such as heart attack, or heart failure. Regular monitoring is important, especially if you already have heart disease.| Does Adleap Tablet affect fertility in men? ::: Yes, Adleap Tablet may reduce fertility in men, and can harm an unborn child if the father is taking it during conception. Effective contraception is recommended during treatment, and for at least 3 months after stopping.
Adleap Tablet is an antiandrogen. It works by blocking the effect of the natural male hormones on the growth of prostate cells.
-Nevirapine (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Nevirapine with Enzalutamide. Enzalutamide may reduce blood levels of Nevirapine.

| -Bortezomib (Injection Route): Severe

Avoid concurrent use. Please consult with your doctor. Enzalutamide may reduce efficacy of Bortezomib.

| -Irinotecan (Injection Route): Severe

Do not consume Irinotecan with Enzalutamide. Enzalutamide may fasten the elimination of Irinotecan and its active form.

| -Sirolimus (Injection Route): Severe

Do not consume Sirolimus with Enzalutamide. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Enzalutamide may reduce blood levels of Sirolimus.

| -Aprepitant (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Aprepitant with Enzalutamide. Enzalutamide may reduce blood levels of Aprepitant.
