Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. It is also used in the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). It may also be used to treat ED in patients with BPH. Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet may be taken on an empty stomach or with a meal. It should be strictly taken as advised by your doctor. The medicine will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. You should take it about one hour before you plan to have sex. The amount of time it takes to work varies from person to person, but it normally takes between 30 minutes and one hour. Only take it if you need it and it has been prescribed to you by a doctor.The most common side effects of this medicine are flushing, headache, blurred vision, muscle pain, stomach upset, and nasal congestion. Talk to your doctor if the side effects bother you or do not go away.This medicine is not intended for use by women, and men should avoid using any other medicines to treat impotence without talking to a doctor. It can be dangerous to take it along with medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain). Do not take this medicine if you have severe heart or liver problems, if you have recently had a stroke or heart attack, or if you have low blood pressure. Let your doctor know if you suffer from these or any other health problems before taking it. You should not drive if this medicine makes you feel dizzy. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can lead to side effects.

This allows blood to flow into the penis and produce an erection when sexually aroused. This medicine will only help get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is very effective but needs to be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.\u003cbr>\u003cbr>Do not take this medicine if you also take medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain).

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet | - Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies do not indicate harmful effects. However, there are limited human studies.Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet is not indicated for use in women. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Can the use of Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet affect fertility?::: No, using Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet does not affect fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and does not affect fertility.| Do I need to avoid alcohol while taking Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet?::: Alcohol in small amounts may not cause any discomfort to you. However, drinking too much alcohol (5 units or greater) can increase your chances of getting a headache or feeling dizzy, an increased heart rate, or low blood pressure.| Does Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet delay ejaculation?::: No, Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet is not known to affect ejaculation. It is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.| What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet?::: You should immediately consult your doctor if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, a sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss, ringing in the ears, and dizziness. Also, contact your doctor if you experience prolonged erections greater than 4 hours and painful erections greater than 6 hours in duration.

-Nitroprusside (Injection Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Nitroprusside with Tadalafil. Concomitant use may cause a serious drop in blood pressure.

| -Isosorbide Dinitrate (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tadalafil with Isosorbide Dinitrate. If Tadalafil is essential, ensure a gap of at least 48 hours between taking Tadalafil and Isosorbide Dinitrate. Concomitant use may cause a severe drop in blood pressure that may lead to a heart attack.

| -Isosorbide Dinitrate (Sublingual route): Life-threatening

| -Isosorbide Mononitrate (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tadalafil with Isosorbide Mononitrate. If Tadalafil is essential, ensure a gap of at least 48 hours between taking Tadalafil and Isosorbide Mononitrate. Concomitant use may cause a severe drop in blood pressure that may lead to a heart attack.

| -Nitroglycerin (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tadalafil with Nitroglycerin. If Tadalafil is essential, ensure a gap of at least 48 hours between taking Tadalafil and Nitroglycerin. Concomitant use may cause a severe drop in blood pressure that may lead to a heart attack.
