Adiprox-DT Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It helps relieve pain and swelling in the joints and muscles. Adiprox-DT Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is okay to stop using it.The most common side effects of this medicine include mild vomiting, stomach pain, nausea, headache, and dizziness. If any of these side effects persist or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.Before using it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of stomach ulcers, heart disease, high blood pressure, or liver or kidney disease. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. It can help relieve pain in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis or even after a dental (tooth-related) surgery.\u003cbr>Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Adiprox-DT Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Adiprox-DT Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body. | - Driving : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

If you miss a dose of Adiprox-DT Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Adiprox-DT Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).| What are the contraindications for Adiprox-DT Tablet?::: Contraindications to Adiprox-DT Tablet are an allergy, bleeding tendency, duodenal/gastric/peptic ulcer, stomatitis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), ulcerative colitis, upper GI disease, late pregnancy, cardiac disease, hepatic impairment, and renal impairment.| How long does Adiprox-DT Tablet work?::: Adiprox-DT Tablet is a long-acting drug. Once the daily dose is enough for the relief of pain, but it depends from person to person, as the effectiveness of piroxicam increases when given for a few weeks.| Is Adiprox-DT Tablet effective in back pain management?::: Yes. It can be given for decreasing the back pain. However, you should consult your doctor for the exact cause of your back pain and then start the treatment. Do not self-medicate, as the cause of back pain can be different for different people.| Is Adiprox-DT Tablet effective in gout management?::: Yes. Adiprox-DT Tablet can be given for the treatment of acute gout. Research studies have shown Adiprox-DT Tablet to be highly effective in the treatment of acute gout.| Can I use Adiprox-DT Tablet if I am a diabetic?::: A diabetic patient can only take Adiprox-DT Tablet by consulting a doctor because these medicines have the propensity to cause renal failure when taken for a long period. Diabetes itself causes renal Adiprox-DT Tablet, so taking piroxicam can lead to an increased risk of renal failure by many folds.| Can I use Adiprox-DT Tablet if I am pregnant?::: No. Adiprox-DT Tablet should not be taken during pregnancy. Do not consume Acenocoumarol with Piroxicam. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of bleeding.

| -Phenindione (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Phenindione with Piroxicam. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of bleeding.

| -Methotrexate (Injection Route): Severe

Please consult with your doctor. Doctor may monitor liver function and blood cell counts. Concurrent use may increase the risk of serious side effects of Methotrexate.

| -Warfarin (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Warfarin with Piroxicam. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of bleeding.
