It works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood. Adipe 25mg Tablet works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that stabilize and improve the mood. It is better to take it before bedtime because it can make you feel drowsy. It can be taken with or without food, but you should take it at a fixed time each day for better efficacy. The dose and duration will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. Do not skip any dose and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication must not be stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor. Your dose may be modified or gradually decreased before stopping the medication.The most common side effects of Adipe 25mg Tablet include increased heart rate, blurred vision, dryness in the mouth, and constipation. It can also reduce feelings of restlessness, tiredness, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and sleep problems that often come with Generalised Anxiety Disorder. It will, therefore, help you go about your daily activities more easily and be more productive. Keep taking this medicine even if you feel well. Stopping suddenly can cause serious problems.

- Alcohol : UNSAFE

Do not drink alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Adipe 25mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness when taken with alcohol. | - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Adipe 25mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Adipe 25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor. | - Driving : UNSAFE

What is Adipe 25mg Tablet used for?::: Adipe 25mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat anxiety disorder and depression that is unresponsive to other alternative medicines. It is also used to relieve nerve pain and fibromyalgia. Adipe 25mg Tablet should be taken only if prescribed by a doctor, exactly as directed.| Is Adipe 25mg Tablet a muscle relaxant?::: No. Adipe 25mg Tablet is not a muscle relaxant. It is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) used in the treatment of depression, nerve pain, and anxiety disorder.| How to stop Adipe 25mg Tablet?::: If your doctor asks you to stop Adipe 25mg Tablet, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. You should not discontinue it abruptly. Sudden discontinuation may cause aggression, anxiety, blurred vision, concentration impairment, constipation and crying spells.| Is overdosing on Adipe 25mg Tablet be fatal?::: Yes. Adipe 25mg Tablet can be fatal (can cause death) in overdose. This is due to a life-threatening or dangerous side effect in overdose like hyperthermia, seizure, arrhythmia, tachycardia, orthostatic hypotension or sudden death. That's why it is generally not considered a first-line option for depression because of side effect profile.| Can I take Adipe 25mg Tablet with diazepam?::: It is better to avoid this combination. Diazepam is a sedative drug and Adipe 25mg Tablet may cause sedation as a side effect too. Taking both of them together can increase drowsiness or sleepiness. Inform your doctor if you are taking diazepam.| Can Adipe 25mg Tablet be used to treat insomnia with depression?::: Yes. Adipe 25mg Tablet may be used for the treatment of insomnia (too much arousal both at night and during the day) associated with depression. Because it can cause drowsiness or sedation as side effects, it is effective in treating insomnia associated with depression.

-Moclobemide (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Moclobemide with Dosulepin. If Moclobemide is essential, ensure a gap of at least 1 day after discontinuing Dosulepin. Please consult your doctor. Concomitant use may cause an increase in blood serotonin levels. Patients may experience agitation, increased body temperature, fast heartbeat, muscle rigidity, and loss of coordination.

| -Domperidone (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Domperidone with Dosulepin. Concomitant use may affect heart rhythm and can be fatal.

| -Tranylcypromine (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tranylcypromine with Dosulepin. If Tranylcypromine is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 weeks after discontinuing Dosulepin. Please consult your doctor.

| -Tramadol (Injection Route): Severe

Careful consideration is advised if you have epilepsy. Watch out for symptoms of serotonin syndrome, such as sedation, respiratory impairment, tremors, fever, diarrhea, or agitation, and consult your doctor if you experience them. Your doctor may alter or discontinue the medicines accordingly. Concurrent use may cause serotonin syndrome.

| -Thioridazine (Oral Route): Severe

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as sleepiness, dry mouth, impaired voluntary movements, weight gain, constipation, muscle stiffness or tremors and consult your doctor if you experience them. Factors such as old age, chronic heart issues, or low potassium levels may more frequently cause disturbance in heart rhythm, and your doctor may consider ECG monitoring in their presence. Concurrent use may cause serious disturbance in heart rhythm.
