Adimox 125 DT Tablet comprises one antibiotic and one probiotic medicine. It helps treat a multitude of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, eyes, nose, sinus, tonsils, tooth, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. Give Adimox 125 DT Tablet either with or without food but it is best to give it with food if it upsets your child?s stomach. It is generally given three times a day. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child?s body weight and age. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. However, do not double the dose if it is the time for the next dose.Adimox 125 DT Tablet can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. These side effects should ideally subside on their own. But, in case these side effects persist or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor without a delay.Tell your child?s doctor if your child has had any previous episodes of allergy, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problem, skin disorder, and kidney malfunction. Knowledge of your child?s medical history will help the dose make dose alterations and plan your child?s overall treatment.

These infections may include otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), tonsillitis (infection of tonsils), dental abscess (tooth infection), pneumonia (lung infection), cellulitis (skin infection), and urinary tract infection. The presence of probiotics reduces the chance of side effects like stomach upset or diarrhea in your child which may occur due to the prolonged intake of antibiotics.\u003cbr>\u003cbr>Adimox 125 DT Tablet is also given for several infections that are suspected to be caused by the bacteria but the type of bacteria is not known (empirical therapy). Usually, children start to feel better within 2-3 days of regular dosing. Make sure to finish the recommended course of the medicine as stopping the medicine abruptly may lead to ineffective treatment or worsen your child?s condition.

Are there any possible serious side effects of Adimox 125 DT Tablet?::: Although rare, Adimox 125 DT Tablet may cause some serious side effects such as persistent vomiting, kidney damage, and allergy. Always consult your child?s doctor for help in such a situation.| Can other medicines be given at the same time as Adimox 125 DT Tablet?::: Adimox 125 DT Tablet can sometimes interact with other medicines or substances. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they fully recover from the illness. Post recovery from illness, the child can take the vaccine after consulting the doctor.| The mucus coming out of my child?s nose is yellow-green. Is it a sign of a bacterial infection?::: In the common cold, the mucus changes its color and thickens up with time, but this does not mean that your child needs antibiotics.
