Adgram 3mg Injection works by blocking certain chemical in the brain that triggers vomiting signals, especially during chemotherapy. Adgram 3mg Injection will not relieve other side effects associated with cancer treatments. It is administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional and should be taken as advised by the doctor. It is important that you keep having the injections until your doctor decides it is safe to stop them. After this, your doctor may prescribe tablets instead of injections.The most common side effects of taking this medicine include injection site pain or reaction, headache, constipation, diarrhea, and weakness. These symptoms should disappear when you stop taking the medicine, but if they bother you or do not go away, your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart or liver problems or a blockage in your stomach or intestines. Als,o tell your doctor about other drugs you are using, especially medicines to treat epilepsy, heart problems, cancer, and depression. These may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask for advice from your doctor.

What is Adgram 3mg Injection used for?::: Adgram 3mg Injection is an antiemetic medicine used to treat and prevent nausea or vomiting caused after any surgical procedure or due to certain medicines, stomach upset, or cancer treatment. It also prevents nausea due to motion sickness to some extent.| What are the side effects of Adgram 3mg Injection?::: The most common side effects of Adgram 3mg Injection are sleepiness, weakness, headache, constipation and diarrhea. However, these are not usually bothersome and resolve in some time on their own. Consult your doctor, if the symptoms worry you or persist for a longer duration. Your doctor will suggest ways to cope up with these side effects and to prevent them in future.| Is Adgram 3mg Injection safe to be used in pregnant women?::: Adgram 3mg Injection did not show any adverse effects in research studies done on animals. However, since the safety and efficiency of Adgram 3mg Injection in pregnant women is unknown. It is not recommended to be used in women who are pregnant women or if you are planning to conceive unless prescribed by your doctor.| Is Adgram 3mg Injection better than Ondansetron?::: Adgram 3mg Injection and Ondansetron belong to the same class of medicines, that is serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonists. However, this is usually not bothersome. Taking a fiber-rich diet can enhance your digestion and avoid constipation. You may also consider taking laxatives for relief and drink plenty of water too. Avoid drinking alcohol as it may worsen your constipation. If you still face issues, please consult your doctor to know about ways to treat it.

Watch out for symptoms such as tremors, fever, diarrhea or agitation and consult your doctor if you experience them. Factors such as old age, chronic heart issues, or low potassium levels may more frequently cause disturbance in heart rhythm, and your doctor may consider ECG monitoring in their presence. Your doctor may discontinue the medicines accordingly. Concurrent use may cause serotonin syndrome.

Do not consume Apomorphine with Granisetron. If concurrent use is essential, please consult your doctor. Concurrent use may disturb the heart rhythm.
