Adflu 50mg Injection is used in the treatment of blood cancer called chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). It may be used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. It is sometimes used with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy. Adflu 50mg Injection is given as infusion into veins under the supervision of doctor. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, weakness, fever, and cough. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells (decrease white blood cells and red blood cells) in your blood, thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with heart, liver, and blood uric acid levels.Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

Adflu 50mg Injection kills or stops the growth of cancer cells and also prevents the multiplication of cancer cells. It is an effective medicine but you should discuss the side effects and benefits of this medicine with your doctor. Let your doctor know if any of the side effects bothers you.

Adflu 50mg Injection is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks. | - Breast feeding : UNSAFE

Adflu 50mg Injection is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby. | - Driving : UNSAFE

Adflu 50mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.Some people get tired, feel weak, have disturbed vision, become confused, or agitated or have seizures while they are treated with Adflu 50mg Injection and this may affect your ability to drive. | - Kidney : CAUTION

What is Adflu 50mg Injection used to treat? ::: Adflu 50mg Injection is a chemotherapy medicine used to treat certain types of blood cancers, primarily B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). It may also be used for other blood cancers such as non-Hodgkin?s lymphoma and acute myeloid leukemia.\u003cbr>| How often will I need to get Adflu 50mg Injection? ::: A typical treatment schedule with Adflu 50mg Injection involves receiving the medicine once a day for five consecutive days. This five-day treatment cycle is usually repeated every 28 days. Your doctor will determine the exact number of cycles you need.\u003cbr>| My doctor said Adflu 50mg Injection is for ?refractory? CLL. What does that mean? ::: If your doctor prescribed Adflu 50mg Injection for refractory CLL, this means that your chronic lymphocytic leukemia has either not responded to previous standard treatments or it has come back after you have been treated with at least one other type of chemotherapy, such as an alkylating agent.\u003cbr>| Will I need to have a lot of blood tests during my Adflu 50mg Injection treatment? ::: Yes. You will need to have frequent blood tests. Adflu 50mg Injection can significantly affect your bone marrow, which can lead to low levels of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Your doctor will monitor your blood counts closely to manage these effects.\u003cbr>| Why is my doctor so concerned about infections while I am on Adflu 50mg Injection? ::: Adflu 50mg Injection works by targeting and destroying cancer cells, but it also strongly suppresses your immune system, which can last for a long time. This makes you much more vulnerable to serious infections, so it is very important to take precautions and report any signs of infection to your doctor right away.\u003cbr>| I need a blood transfusion during Adflu 50mg Injection treatment. Is there anything special I need to know? ::: Yes. This is very important. If you need a blood transfusion while you are being treated with Adflu 50mg Injection, the blood products you receive must be irradiated (treated with radiation) first. This is to prevent a rare, but very serious complication called transfusion-associated graft-versus-host disease.\u003cbr>

-Pegfilgrastim (Injection Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Fludarabine from 14 days before until 24 days after taking Pegfilgrastim. Please consult your doctor. Concurrent use may cause a decrease in the ability of the bone marrow to produce blood cells.

| -Sargramostim (Injection Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Fludarabine from 1 day before until 1 day after taking Sargramostim. Please consult your doctor. Concurrent use may cause a decrease in the ability of the bone marrow to produce blood cells.

| -Lenograstim (Injection Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Lenograstim from 24 hours before until 24 hours after undergoing cytotoxic chemotherapy. Concurrent use may cause a decrease in the ability of the bone marrow to produce blood cells.

| -Molgramostim (Injection Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Fludarabine from 1 day before until 1 day after taking Molgramostim. Please consult your doctor. Concurrent use may cause a decrease in the ability of the bone marrow to produce blood cells.

| -Natalizumab (Injection Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Natalizumab with Fludarabine. Concomitant use may increase the risk of opportunistic infections.
