Addwize 10mg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (a behavioral disorder in children marked by poor concentration, hyperactivity, and learning difficulties). It helps to improve attention span, concentration and reduces impulsive behavior. Addwize 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), abdominal pain, and nervousness. However, these side effects are temporary and usually resolve on their own in some time. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you. This medicine causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.Before taking Addwize 10mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any problems with your kidneys, heart, liver, or have a history of seizures (epilepsy or fits). Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or if you have any suicidal thoughts.

Addwize 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor. | - Driving : UNSAFE

Addwize 10mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.You may feel dizzy, have problems focussing or have blurred vision when taking Addwize 10mg Tablet. This may affect your driving ability. | - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Is Addwize 10mg Tablet a monoamine oxidase inhibitor/ opiate/ amphetamine?::: Addwize 10mg Tablet is central nervous system stimulant drug that is used in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (a behavioral disorder in children marked by poor concentration, hyperactivity, and learning difficulties). It is not monoamine oxidase inhibitor or an opiate. It is similar in function to amphetamine, but milder in nature| Does Addwize 10mg Tablet keep you awake or help you focus?::: Yes, Addwize 10mg Tablet increases wakefulness, vigilance and attention span| Does Addwize 10mg Tablet make you high?::: Addwize 10mg Tablet has the ability to alter mood and feelings such that the effects are perceived by some as pleasant or ?high'. Addwize 10mg Tablet belongs to a sub schedule X consisting psychotropic and habit forming substances. It is available strictly as per the prescription and should always be used as advised by doctor| Does Addwize 10mg Tablet expire/ go bad?::: Like all other medicines, Addwize 10mg Tablet expires.The expiry date is mentioned on the pill-box or strip. Addwize 10mg Tablet should not be used beyond this date of expiry.

-Tranylcypromine (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Tranylcypromine with Methylphenidate. If Tranylcypromine is essential, ensure a gap of At least 2 weeks between taking Tranylcypromine and Methylphenidate. Please consult your doctor.

| -Moclobemide (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Concurrent use may cause a severe or fatal increase in blood pressure. Do not consume Moclobemide with Methylphenidate. If Moclobemide is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 weeks after discontinuing Methylphenidate. Please consult your doctor.

| -Selegiline (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Do not consume Selegiline with Methylphenidate. If Selegiline is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 weeks after discontinuing Methylphenidate. Please consult your doctor.

| -Linezolid (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Methylphenidate during treatment with and for up to 14 days after stopping Linezolid. Concurrent use may increase the risk of high blood pressure.
