Adcyclo Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. | - Liver : CAUTION
Adcyclo Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
If you miss a dose of Adcyclo Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Can Adcyclo Tablet cause infertility?::: Yes, Adcyclo Tablet can cause infertility in both men and women. It may interfere with the normal menstrual cycle in women and may stop sperm production in men. If you are considering becoming parents after the treatment please discuss this with your doctor. Talk to your doctor about cryopreservation (freezing) of sperm or eggs prior to treatment because of the possibility of irreversible infertility due to therapy with Adcyclo Tablet. | Do I need to avoid sun exposure during treatment with Adcyclo Tablet?::: No, there is no evidence that you need to avoid sun exposure while on Adcyclo Tablet. Skin and nail discoloration are reported rarely with Adcyclo Tablet.| Can Adcyclo Tablet cause cancer?::: Cancer medicines and radiation therapy can increase the risk of developing other cancers. These may not develop soon and may take a number of years after the completion of your treatment. The risk of developing cancer with Adcyclo Tablet is high in the urinary bladder. Other rare cancers that may occur with use of Adcyclo Tablet include Acute leukemia, Myelodysplastic syndrome, and cancer of the ureters.| Is Adcyclo Tablet chemotherapy medicine?::: Yes, Adcyclo Tablet is a chemotherapy medicine, it belongs to the class of alkylating agents. It works by killing cancer cells. It is also known as cytotoxic medicine.| Can Adcyclo Tablet be used for non-cancer condition?::: Yes, Adcyclo Tablet can be used to treat nephrotic syndrome (a disease that is caused by damage to the kidneys) in children whose disease has not improved, has gotten worse, or has come back after taking other medications. Adcyclo Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It is an alkylating agent which works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells, thereby stopping their growth and multiplication. This is how it works against cancer.
-Pegfilgrastim (Injection Route): Severe
Do not consume Pegfilgrastim from 24 hours before or 24 hours after taking Cyclophosphamide. Cyclophosphamide may reduce the efficacy of Pegfilgrastim.
| -Molgramostim (Injection Route): Severe
Do not consume Cyclophosphamide from 1 day before until 1 day after taking Molgramostim. Please consult your doctor. Concurrent use may cause a decrease in the ability of the bone marrow to produce blood cells.
| -Natalizumab (Injection Route): Severe
Do not consume Natalizumab with Cyclophosphamide. Concomitant use may increase the risk of opportunistic infections.
| -Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted) (Injection Route): Severe
Do not use Cyclophosphamide with Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted). If essential, please consult your doctor. Cyclophosphamide may reduce efficacy of Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted).
| -Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route): Severe
Do not use Cyclophosphamide with Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine. If essential, please consult your doctor. Cyclophosphamide may reduce efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.Concurrent use may increase the risk of infections.
