Adcospas Tablet is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). It helps to reduce the symptoms of PMS such as bloating, water weight gain, swelling, and the feeling of being full. It also relaxes the abdominal muscles and relieves cramps or pain. Adcospas Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in mouth, weakness, nervousness, blurred vision, and dark-colored urine. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

In Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) Adcospas Tablet may help reduce PMS symptoms such as mood swings, anxiousness, tiredness, bloating, breast tenderness and headaches. Also, it effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, a healthy diet, getting plenty of sleep, and using relaxation techniques may also be helpful.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Adcospas Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Adcospas Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
What is Adcospas Tablet used for? ::: Adcospas Tablet is used to treat premenstrual syndrome (PMS). It helps relax abdominal muscles and relieve menstrual cramps and pain.| Who should not take Adcospas Tablet? ::: Individuals should not take Adcospas Tablete if they are allergic to any of its ingredients, have serious liver or kidney disease, intestinal obstruction or blockage, glaucoma, or problems with urination. Always inform your doctor if you have any such conditions before starting treatment.| What precautions should I take before using Adcospas Tablet?::: Before using Adcospas Tablet, talk to your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or any urinary or bowel condition. Avoid alcohol, and inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking to prevent interactions.| Are there any serious side effects of Adcospas Tablet? ::: Serious side effects are rare but may include difficulty urinating, severe dry mouth, allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), hallucinations, unusual mood changes, or severe constipation. Adcospas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Pamabrom and Dicyclomine. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes pain. Pamabrom is a diuretic which increases urine production to remove excess water from the body and relieve premenstrual symptoms like bloating, water-weight gain, swelling and the feeling of being full. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.
