Adaliz 600mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues.Adaliz 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. You should take it regularly as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen.The most common side effects of Adaliz 600mg Tablet include vomiting, headache, nausea, decreased blood cell counts, and diarrhea. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days.Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. You should also let your doctor know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it.

In Treatment of Severe bacterial infections Adaliz 600mg Tablet works by killing bacteria which can cause serious infections. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as infections of lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues. This medicine usually makes you feel better very quickly but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Adaliz 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.\u003cbr>Avoid Adaliz 600mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Adaliz 600mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Adaliz 600mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. | - Driving : UNSAFE

Adaliz 600mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Adaliz 600mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Adaliz 600mg Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. | - Liver : CAUTION

Adaliz 600mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Adaliz 600mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Adaliz 600mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Adaliz 600mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Q. Can the use of Adaliz 600mg Tablet cause diarrhea?::: Yes, the use of Adaliz 600mg Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.| Q. What foods should I avoid while taking Adaliz 600mg Tablet?::: You should avoid taking large quantities of food that contain high tyramine in it. Foods that are fermented, cured, aged or spoiled contain high amount of tyramine e.g cheese, red wine, pickle, over ripe fruits etc. Consuming tyramine while taking Adaliz 600mg Tablet can result in elevation of blood pressure, which may result in an emergency situation.
Adaliz 600mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
