The antifungal (terbinafine) targets the fungus, and the steroid (mometasone) reduces the swelling and itch.| Can anyone use Actsone T Cream, or are there people who must not use it? ::: Actsone T Cream should not be used if the person is allergic to terbinafine, mometasone, related corticosteroids, or any ingredient in the medicine. Also, individuals should avoid using Actsone T Cream on certain conditions, such as rosacea, acne on the face, perioral dermatitis, genital itching from non-fungal causes, open wounds, ulcerated skin, bacterial/viral infections (like impetigo or cold sores), or where the skin is broken. If in doubt, ask your doctor.| I have a rash on my face. Is Actsone T Cream safe to use on my face? ::: No, facial use of Actsone T Cream is restricted. It is advised not to use Actsone T Cream on the face for more than 5 days, and you should not use occlusion there.
