Actinex 30mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat premature ejaculation in adult men. This medicine increases the time it takes to ejaculate and improves control over ejaculation. This helps to relieve the anxiety or frustration about fast ejaculation. Actinex 30mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI). It may be taken with or without food. This medicine should only be taken if you have been diagnosed with premature ejaculation by a doctor. It is usually advised to be taken 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity. Do not take it more than once a day. Follow your doctor?s instructions while taking this medicine.Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting, nausea, indigestion, fatigue, increased sweating, and restlessness. Some people can develop erectile dysfunction with this medicine. Let your doctor know if any of the side effects persist or worry you. Do not drive or do anything that requires focus (eg. working with heavy machinery) until you know how this medicine affects you, as some people can develop dizziness and sleepiness as side effects.Do not take Actinex 30mg Tablet if you have heart problems (like heart failure or problems with the heart rhythm), or have ever had depression or mania, or are currently taking medicines for depression known as MAO inhibitors. Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have epilepsy (seizure disorder or fits), liver or kidney disease, glaucoma, or have had dizziness/fainting (syncope) due to low blood pressure in the past. These may affect your treatment.

In Treatment of Premature ejaculation Actinex 30mg Tablet works by increasing the level of a chemical called serotonin in the brain. This increases the time taken to ejaculate and improves control over ejaculation. This helps reduce any frustration or worry that you may have due to quick ejaculation and improves your confidence. It is usually taken 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity is anticipated. Do not take this medicine more than once a day.

- Alcohol : UNSAFE

Do not drink alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Actinex 30mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness when taken with alcohol. | - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

The safety of Actinex 30mg Tablet during pregnancy has not been established. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, and animal data on reproductive toxicity are insufficient. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing.This medicine is not indicated in women. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Actinex 30mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.You may feel sleepy, dizzy, faint, have difficulty concentrating and blurred vision while taking this medicine. This may affect your driving ability. | - Kidney : CAUTION

Actinex 30mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.However, use of Actinex 30mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. | - Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Actinex 30mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.However, use of Actinex 30mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.

-Tranylcypromine (Oral Route): Life-threatening

Concomitant use may cause an increase in blood serotonin levels. Patients may experience agitation, increased body temperature, fast heartbeat, muscle rigidity, and loss of coordination. Do not consume Dapoxetine with Tranylcypromine. If Dapoxetine is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 weeks after discontinuing Tranylcypromine. Please consult your doctor.

| -Atazanavir (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Atazanavir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Atazanavir may raise blood levels of Dapoxetine and its active form.

| -Darunavir (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Darunavir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Darunavir may raise blood levels of Dapoxetine and its active form.

| -Indinavir (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Indinavir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Indinavir may raise blood levels of Dapoxetine and its active form.

| -Itraconazole (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Itraconazole. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Itraconazole may raise blood levels of Dapoxetine and its active form.
