Acronite 150 Tablet is used in the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness (narcolepsy). It improves wakefulness and helps you to stay awake and reduces the tendency to fall asleep during the day, thus restoring the normal sleep cycle. Acronite 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea, and insomnia (difficulty sleeping). It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. However, these side effects are temporary and usually resolve on their own in some time. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you.Always remember that this medicine only used when advised by a doctor as it is not a replacement for a good sleep routine. You should try to get the right amount of sleep every night. Before taking Acronite 150 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any problems with your kidneys, heart, liver, or have a history of seizures (epilepsy or fits). Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or if you have any suicidal thoughts.

In Narcolepsy (Uncontrollable daytime sleepiness) Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder that causes excessive daytime drowsiness. The affected person may experience excessive sleepiness, sleep paralysis, hallucinations, and in some cases episodes of cataplexy (partial or total loss of muscle control). Acronite 150 Tablet stimulates the brain and makes you fully awake. It also relieves these abnormal symptoms and regulates the sleep cycle. This restores normal sleeping habits and improves your quality of life. You will feel more energetic and will be able to perform better in your daily activities.

The safety of Acronite 150 Tablet during pregnancy has not been established. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, and animal data on reproductive toxicity are insufficient. Acronite 150 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.Patients to be advised to avoid driving or any other potentially dangerous activity. | - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

There is limited data available on the use of Acronite 150 Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. | - Liver : CAUTION

Acronite 150 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Does armodafinil work?::: Armodafinil is effective if taken as per the dose and duration prescribed by a doctor| What does armodafinil look like?::: Armodafinil is available in the form of a tablet which is to be taken orally| Is armodafinil a narcotic/is it addictive?::: No. Armodafinil is not a narcotic. It has very low potential to be a habit forming medicine. Please follow your doctor's instructions about the dose and duration of treatment. Do not take it for longer time than prescribed. Do not discontinue the treatment abruptly.

-Ulipristal acetate (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Ulipristal acetate with Armodafinil. If Ulipristal acetate is essential, ensure a gap of At least 4 weeks after discontinuing Armodafinil. Please consult your doctor. Armodafinil may reduce the efficacy of Ulipristal acetate.

| -Diazepam (Injection Route): Severe

Watch out for symptoms of Diazepam side effects such as tremors, fever, sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth or nausea and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust or discontinue the doses if required. Armodafinil may raise blood levels of Diazepam.

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Amitriptyline side effects such as dry mouth, diarrhea, dizziness or difficulty in urination and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Armodafinil may raise blood levels of Amitriptyline.
