This lowers your blood pressure and helps in reducing your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in the future. This medicine needs to be taken regularly to be effective, so keep taking it even if you feel well. Do not stop without talking to your doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acmprol C 50mg/6.25mg Tablet ER may be taken with or without food.

Acmprol C 50mg/6.25mg Tablet ER is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Metoprolol Succinate and Chlorthalidone. \tMetoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
