Acmesod Injection is a medicine used in the treatment of metabolic acidosis, severe diarrhea, acidity, and poisoning. It works by increasing the pH of blood and urine. It also speeds up the removal of toxic substances from the body in certain types of poisoning and helps replenish salt and electrolyte levels. Acmesod Injection is generally administered by a doctor or a nurse. Do not self-administered the injection. To get the most benefit, take this medicine at evenly spaced times and continue using it until your prescription is finished, even if your symptoms disappear after a few days. Acmesod Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

If you miss a dose of Acmesod Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
What is the use of Acmesod Injection?::: Acmesod Injection is used to make your blood or urine less acidic. High levels of acid in blood can be caused by diabetes, hepatitis, heart and kidney problems, shock, severe dehydration or diarrhoea, Addison?s disease, and malnutrition.| Is Acmesod Injection harmful?::: Acmesod Injection is safe if used as a medication and as prescribed by the doctor. However, excess of Acmesod Injection can disturb the fine balance of electrolytes (like sodium, potassium, carbonate, etc.) that is needed by the body to function properly. As a result, it can cause unwanted side effects.| In which conditions should Acmesod Injection be avoided?::: The use of Acmesod Injection should be avoided in patients who have kidney disease or kidney stones, heart disease, or high blood pressure or high blood pressure due to pregnancy. Additionally, it should also be avoided in patients who have excess sodium in the blood, swelling due to excess fluid, and low levels of potassium or chloride in the blood.
Acmesod Injection is an alkalizer. It works by increasing the pH of blood and urine, thereby correcting metabolic acidosis (high acid levels in the body). It also speeds up the removal of toxic substances from the body in certain types of poisoning. In case of excessive fluid loss (such as in diarrhea), it works by replenishing salt and electrolyte levels.
-Gabapentin (Oral Route): Moderate

To take Gabapentin, ensure a gap of at least 2 hours after taking Sodium Bicarbonate. Sodium Bicarbonate may reduce blood levels of Gabapentin.

| -Diethylcarbamazine (Oral Route): Moderate

Your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Diethylcarbamazine may increase the metabolism of Sodium Bicarbonate.

| -Lithium carbonate (Oral Route): Moderate

Do not consume sodium-containing medicines with Lithium carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate. Your doctor may monitor your Lithium carbonate levels closely. Lithium carbonate may increase the rate of release of Sodium Bicarbonate in the blood.

| -Mycophenolate mofetil (Oral Route): Moderate

Ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Mycophenolate mofetil and Sodium Bicarbonate Your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Sodium Bicarbonate may reduce blood levels of Mycophenolate mofetil.

| -Fosinopril (Oral Route): Moderate

Ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Fosinopril and Sodium Bicarbonate. Sodium Bicarbonate may reduce blood levels of Fosinopril.
