Acioflo Infusion is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping further growth of the causative microorganisms. Acioflo Infusion is given as an injection into a vein (intravenous), in cases where oral administration is not possible, such as in hospitalized or unconscious patients. It is administered by a healthcare professional. Kindly do not self-administer. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.Some people may have nausea, headache, dizziness, and vomiting as side effects of this medicine. You may also notice some injection site reactions like pain, swelling, or redness. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own, but please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Diarrhea may also occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools.You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Rarely, some people may have a severe allergic reaction that needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, shortness of breath, or breathing problems. Special care should be taken in people with kidney problems while taking this medicine.

Acioflo Infusion may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor. | - Driving : UNSAFE

Acioflo Infusion may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION

Can the use of Acioflo Infusion cause diarrhea?::: Yes, the use of Acioflo Infusion can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.| Can I stop taking Acioflo Infusion when I feel better?::: No, do not stop taking Acioflo Infusion and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.| Can the use of Acioflo Infusion increase the risk of muscle damage? ::: Yes, use of Acioflo Infusion is known to increase the risk of muscle damage, commonly in the ankle (achilies tendon). Muscle damage can happen in people of all ages who take Acioflo Infusion. Inform your doctor if you feel any kind of muscle pain while using this medicine.

-Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) two weeks before and at least 10 days after consuming Ofloxacin. Please consult your doctor. Ofloxacin may reduce the efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

| -Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route): Severe

Ofloxacin may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine. Ofloxacin may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.Do not consume Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine with Ofloxacin. If Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine is essential, ensure a gap of at least 3 days after discontinuing Ofloxacin. Please consult your doctor.

| -Aceclofenac (Oral Route): Moderate

Do not consume Ofloxacin with Aceclofenac. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for convulsions and seizures and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may cause seizures.
