Acenim Gel is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to relieve pain of the muscle, soft tissue injuries, and acute strains and sprains. It also used to treat inflammation and other painful conditions of the bone or muscle. Acenim Gel is only meant for external use and should be used strictly as advised by your doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be rubbed into the affected areas with clean and dry hands. Avoid getting in contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth and avoid applying it on wounded or damaged skin. In case of accidental contact with these areas, you should rinse it with cold water.It is usually safe with little or no side effects. However, it may cause redness, tingling, prickling, numbness, rash, and itching of the skin at the site of application in some people. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. If they do not get better with time or worsen, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.Before using the medicine, it is important to tell your doctor if you are using or have recently used any other medicines for the same condition or other diseases. To make sure the medicine is safe, pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using the medicine.Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Acenim Gel is banned for children under 12 years of age.

In Treatment of Fever Acenim Gel is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

If you miss a dose of Acenim Gel, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose.\t\t
How to use Acenim Gel?::: Before using Acenim Gel, clean and dry the affected area. Gently and thoroughly massage it into the skin. Be careful not to get the medication in your eyes or mouth. If Acenim Gel gets in your eyes accidentally, wash with plenty of water and call your doctor if your eyes are irritated.| Is Acenim Gel a steroid?::: No, Acenim Gel is not a steroid. It is a painkiller.| What precautions do I need to take while using Acenim Gel?::: Be careful not to get Acenim Gel into your eyes or mouth. If you happen to get it in your eyes, rinse off with plenty of water immediately and contact your doctor. You must not use Acenim Gel if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. Tell your doctor if you notice any allergic reaction while using it for the first time. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines regularly, to prevent any allergic reaction with other medicines. Do not cover the area being treated with Acenim Gel with a bandage, as this may increase absorption of this medicine and increase the side effects. Do not use more than what is recommended to relieve your symptoms faster. Using more than what is advised will only increase the side effects. Let your doctor know if you are planning to conceive. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should use Acenim Gel only if prescribed by the doctor.| What should I do if I forget to use Acenim Gel?::: If you forget to use Acenim Gel, do not worry and continue using Acenim Gel as soon as you remember. However, if you are not sure and have any other doubts, please consult your doctor.
