Abdine Ointment has a combination of medicines that is used to treat bacterial skin infections. It kills and prevents the growth of microorganisms causing infections. It improves healing of the tissues. Abdine Ointment should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. It is for external use only.Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include dry skin, burning, irritation, itching and redness at the application site.If these side effects or any other symptoms persist for a longer duration which you think are because of this medicine, please inform your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or are suffering from any other disease. This medicine is safe to use in breastfeeding mothers.

In Bacterial skin infections Abdine Ointment is used to treat and prevent various skin infections caused by bacteria. It kills and stops the growth of the bacteria causing infection. It may also be used to heal minor cuts, burns, abrasions, ulcers and blisters. Apply exactly as directed by your doctor. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment to ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.

Abdine Ointment is a combination of three medicines: Povidone Iodine, Tinidazole and Sucralfate. Povidone Iodine is an antiseptic. It slowly releases iodine which kills or prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms. Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Sucralfate is protectant which covers the damaged tissue and protects it against injury to facilitate healing.
